Abstract

The United Nations Organization establishes in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 2030, the objective aimed at Health and Well-being; In this sense, it has been established that nations structure health policies and programs that achieve the fulfillment of goal 3.3 aimed at ending the AIDS epidemics. Consequently, within the Maternal and Child Program, advanced approaches such as salutogenic are introduced for continuous improvement in the quality of care for women, with emphasis on pregnant women with HIV. As part of the research, a quantitative-qualitative methodology was designed that responded to the transversal categories. 36 pregnant women were diagnosed with HIV during the period 2023-2024. The main results indicate that the salutogenic model applied in pregnant women with HIV is particularly useful to improve the well-being of mothers and reduce the incidence of vertical transmission.
