Job satisfaction as a key factor for productivity in SMEs in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas

Abstract

Currently in Ecuador there is not enough research on job satisfaction, this topic under study tries to analyze whether there is a relationship between job satisfaction and productivity and how they affect or benefit small and medium enterprises SMEs in the province of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, for this a basic non-experimental research was conducted, In which a literature review was conducted to obtain information, where positive and negative effects were identified according to the working conditions in which they are found, and it was identified whether motivation, fair wages, good treatment between managers and subordinates, are determinants in job satisfaction, and affects the productivity of the organization. In conclusion, it was determined that there is a high relationship between them, since one depends on the other, since if the level of employee performance drops, it is because they feel dissatisfied in their job, and therefore, productivity is also lower.
