Influence of diesel in the agricultural sector of the Quinindé Canton: Economic perspectives

Abstract

Since diesel began to be used in Ecuador, the Ecuadorian state has subsidized the value of this element; the problem dates back to 1974 and since then no government has been able to effectively reform this problem. It is intended to demonstrate through reliable bibliographic sources, based on statistical data provided by the National Institute of Statistics and Census to measure the impact generated by the increase of fuel (Diesel) in the agricultural sector of the canton Quinindé during the period 2021. Established a type of grounded research that allows to know the events that are happening in the region, the data collected and for this the research technique defined as field research was used in which information is collected from the specific field to be studied, in the case of this article is the canton Quinindé. Taking into account that every time there is a rise in the price of fuel, mainly diesel, there is a rise in the price of products, the agricultural sector is always one of the most affected by the rise in fuel prices, products and inflation rise in proportion to the new cost of diesel
